Duck is an instrumental track by ElectroBluesSociety, combining blues, electronic sounds and a funky groove. The track features the distinctive harmonica playing of Kim Snelten, one of the finest harmonica players to come out of the Dutch blues scene.
For me, Duck is a great example of what Bluestronica is about: taking the sound and feel of the blues and placing it in a contemporary electronic setting. The harmonica keeps the connection with the blues tradition, while the beats, production and atmosphere take the track somewhere completely different.
