The Bluestronica series continues with Bluestronica Funk, a new compilation built around blues, funk, groove and electronic production.
Featuring ElectroBluesSociety, Boo Boo Davis, miXendorp and BLu ACiD, the release brings together four different approaches to the connection between blues and contemporary electronic music.
Deep grooves, blues vocals, electric guitars, funky rhythms and electronic beats meet in a collection that looks at the blues from a different angle. The starting point is still the blues — but the destination is somewhere else.
With Bluestronica Funk, Black & Tan Records continues its exploration of the space between traditional blues and modern production.
